Korneli Sanadze was born in village Khoni, Georgia, in 1907. After graduated from Tbilisi Economical Technical Collage in 1922, he continued studying at Mose Toidze Public Art School. During 1924-1929 he studied at Tbilisi State Academy of Arts. From 1934 he was teaching painting in the Academy. Korneli Sanadze was a professor, owner of different awards, among these are Shota Rustaveli awardee.  From 1924 he was the head of Georgian Revolutionist Artists Association - “SARMA”. 


Artworks by Korneli Sanadze are stored in different museums (G. Leonidze State Museum of Georgian Literature, Museum of Shota Rustaveli  Theatre, Zakaria Paliashvili Opera and Ballet Theatre, Adjara  Museum, Sankt-Petersburg State Museum) and private collections. In 2007 he was nominated at Birmingham Auction. Various publications and articles are published about Korneli Sanadze and his work.
